Good morning! Today's card makes me yearn for Christmas and SNOW! I know if I wait long enough they are BOTH just around the corner! I used FSS Christmas Cardinal image on my card for today...it is pre-colored and just one in a series of winter birds that Tracey has in the store. All the paper used on this card is from Pizzazz Aplenty...the silver and green paper has such a pretty pretty shimmer to it that I just couldn't catch on the camera. I used the Fancy Square nesties to emboss the silver layer and die cut the green layer. The flourish is a Marrianne die...added a silver doily behind the image to help set it off the card. My corners were cut with an SU punch and embossed with Cuttlebug folder. As I look at this card now, I wish I had added some sparkle in the image with some stickles or glitter....guess I can still do that. Anyhoooooo, hope you enjoyed my creation today and are inspired to go out and check out this set of winter birds in the FSS store! Have a great day today and thank you for dropping in and leaving some love!

JustRite Always and Forever
Good morning to all! Hope your weekend has started out well! I am looking forward to hopefully having some creating time...that has not been happening much around here! Today I am sharing another black and white card created for the JustRite challenge this week...Love is in the Air. Be sure to check it out and join in the fun...they always have some wonderful prizes and the inspiration is phenomenal! For my card, I used Always and Forever from the Wedding Ensemble and the fancy scroll work around that sentiment is from the You Inspire Me stamp set. I used the Nestabilities Labels Six to cut out around my image and then matted it with the next size nestie in black. I used an SU folder to create my embossed corner...for a little bling on my card I added some of the 5MM Glitter Rhinestones from Pizzazz Aplenty...the camera does not do the bling justice...these are awesome. I also added a little bow of silver cording (from Pizzazz Aplenty) and a small white rose on top of the bow. I really had fun creating this card...hope you like it and are inspired to join in the fun at the JustRite challenge! Well I am off to have a little play time, thanks for stopping in and have a great weekend if I don't get back before it is over!

Love the JustRite Way!
Good morning! Well I have another JustRite creation for you...well part of it is JustRite! I also used my Cricut on this card. The marquee shape is cut from the Storybook cartridge...at 4 inches and then the shadow is at 41/4 inches. I used a stamp set that I had purchased from Clear Dollar Stamps called Marquee labels to stamp the inside of the marquee shape. Then, I used my JustRite horizontal stamper and created my LOVE with the 95pt Special Occasions font. The white paper I used for this card was actually watercolor paper..maybe not a good choice as far as the ink absorption was concerned but I liked the thickness of the paper for the shape. The background was embossed with an SU folder and the corners were punched with an MS corner punch. Added a black ribbon and accented that ribbon with a button and some black and white Bakers Twine that I had purchased from Pizzazz Aplenty. I was excited to be able to use my Bakers Twine! Added a few black flatback pearls from Pizzazz Aplenty and voila...my creation! Work has been a little better for me this week...finally...I am feeling a little less stressed the past few days. Now I need to get back in the groove and get back to Curves...have not gone yet this week and I miss it...I have been going 3-4 times a week since October of last year...sure don't want to break my cycle now! Thanks tons for stopping in...I plan on visiting each of you who are so kind to leave me some love early on tomorrow! Have a great day and happy creating!

Another JustRite card
Good morning! I hope the first week of the new year is going well for everyone and you are all well! There is so much sickness going around...I have managed to stay well to this point thank the good Lord! Today's card is another creation using the JustRite stamps that were Christmas presents to me! This card just evolved...may have too many layers...I had a vision...but this was not really where I wanted to go with it. However, it didn't turn out too bad. All paper used in this project were from Papertrey...the ribbon is from SU. Used the Fancy Square nestability to mat the stamped image. The embossing folder I used on the background is an SU folder...Petals a Plenty and the flowers were from a stem of flowers that I had purchased from Hobby Lobby some time ago...just snipped them off at the bud. I am still experimenting with bows/ribbon and again I feel this one may be too big for the project, however, guess I won't learn unless I try! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving love...words cannot express the gratitude I feel. Hope you have a crafty day!

Another Snowflake card!
Happy Hump Day!!! Well you guys are really going to think I am giving you one big snow job!!! All of my most recent postings have to do with snow and snowflakes! I PROMISE to change this up a bit for tomorrow! Today's creation I used the Cuttlebug Snowflake die to create the flake, Fancy Circle and Standard Circle nestabilities to mat it. I used an SU punch that I had purchased from Pizzazz Aplenty to make my silver border around the red layer...yeah it was time consuming to cut and try to line them up but it didn't turn out too bad. The ribbon I added was from my stash...more than likely from Hobby Lobby...and the Shiny Silver flatback pearls are also from Pizzazz Aplenty. The red cardstock is embossed with the Sizzix Snowflake #3 folder ...and yes, the card stock is also from Pizzazz Aplenty! I have ranted and raved about the texture and quality of this red card stock in previous posts...it is just right for the season. Be sure to check out the new and used craft items that Judy has for sale at Pizzazz Aplenty...she has stamps, ink, punches, cricut items, etc for sale. Well I am off to begin my day...I hope yours is a great one and I look forward to visiting you all later on tonight to see what you have been up to! Thanks for stopping by!

Crystal Ball
Good morning to all of you! I am so glad the weekend is here. Not sure what is in store for me this weekend but at least I know it is not going to work! Thank goodness! Well today's card was created using a new image just released at Squigglefly called Crystalball. I had a grand idea for this card but not so sure it was as grand as I had hoped. I thought I would make a shaker card using a SU "cup" designed for shaker cards...it didn't turn out too bad, I just think the cup needed to be bigger for my image. I filled the cup with Diamond Dust. The embossing folder I used is a Cuttlebug folder called Gracie's Frame. I added some flowers that I had purchased at the Dollar Store in the lower right hand corner and a few pieces of bling in each corner of the embossed frame. The background paper was from SU both the patterned and the solid. I like how it turned out but just wish my shaker cup was a little bigger. Anyhooooo...that is it for today...I will be out to see each of you today a little later. Thanks thanks thanks for stopping in to see me AND leaving some love! May you have a blessed day!

Time for Glitterbabe's Challenge
Good morning ladies! It is Thursday today and time for Glitterbabe's Challenge! This week our theme is Asian...Glitterbabe gave us a couple of images to work with and the only other requirment was bling, sparkle! I chose to work with the Panda image...she is one cute Panda...and she is holding a stalk of bamboo...so I thought what better sentiment for my card than Good Luck. The sentiment is out of a SU stamp set . My background paper was embossed using a cuttlebug folder...Stef embossed it for me and sent it home with me last weekend. Well the only thing left was to add some bling...and I struggled with that!!! WHAT!!!???? Don't know where to add bling...I can just hear Glitterbabe! So I took my clear Sakura GellyRoll Stardust pen and outlined the embossed area. Came out rather cute! Be sure to get on over to the challenge blog and play along with us this week! We had a ton of awesome entries for the last challenge...glad I am not the one who has to pick a winner cause you would all be getting prizes! Well, get going...I am going to start my day. Thank you for stopping in to see me today.

New Glitterbabe Challenge
Happy Thursday! And welcome to a new Glitterbabe Challenge! Our challenge today is sponsored by Robyn's Fetish...we were given a choice of 4 images to use and the card must contain 2 flowers. Of course I fell in love with the bird image...colored it with copics, added a computer generated sentiment and stippled a little light blue on the background. I used sticker flowers...and yeah there are two flowers on the card...and I also added a sticker butterfly. I used a Martha Stewart punch to punch around the image and mounted it on some SU paper that I had leftover from another project. I am a little disappointed in my card this week...but I will do better next week...some days I am just off! Well I am off to work...thanks so much for coming by to see me...have a fantabulous day.

Cricut fun!
Ohhhhhh sorry for not posting since Thursday! My weekend flew by...I hope yours was awesome and you had some fun creating! I will have a few cricut cards to share with you this week! This card was created with an SVG file I downloaded from Paper, Scissors, Ink. The flower is a pop up flower...and I cased the designer's card...Colored the flower with copic markers, added a few buttons in the center and colored them with copic markers as well. The swirly border is from the Storybook cricut cartridge. I added a little bling to the swirly with my Sakura stardust pen. The background paper is from SU I believe. Hope you enjoy my cricut creations! I hope to make more and have more to show you yet this week. Hope you have an awesome day and look forward to seeing you again. I will be out to see all of you today as well! Thanks tons for stopping in!

Friendship Warms the Heart
Hello again! Well I must be on a Friendship kick cause here is another card with that sentiment! This card was a test run using heavy weight vellum paper and nestabilities...I used the Fleur de Lis pendant...first cutting it out with plain blue paper and then cutting it out and embossing it with the heavy weight vellum...yeah...I hear ya...I am on a vellum kick lately! Anyhoooo...i used an embossing tool to go over all the areas that are white...i did not color any of that...it is the pressure of the tool on the vellum that turns it white...have to be careful though cause it is easy to poke holes in the vellum if you push too hard. The paper I used for my card is from SU...added a few sparkly embellies and done! A little simple maybe but I am finding that seems to be my style! LOL that is me...kind of a plain jane! Thanks so much for all the lovely comments yesterday...they keep me going and creating! I am off to visit each of you and thank you so much for taking the time to stop by AND leaving some love! Have a very creative day!

Just for You Vellum Card
Hello again! Whew is it warm where you are? Really hot and humid here but hey...it IS July and I live in the middle of corn country so what should I expect huh? Well I hope my card is refreshing at least! Today's card is done in vellum...heavy weight (48lbs). My image is from the Fancy Flowers collection at Squigglefly. I printed it on the vellum and then flipped over the vellum to make my design. The flower itself is not colored at all...it is the pink bacground paper showing through...the leaves I colored with copics. My corners were cut with the SU corner punch. I really am liking working with vellum...it gives me a feel of elegance...hope you like! Thanks bunches for stopping in today...hope to see you again soon. I am off to see each of you later on today!

A Little Birdie Told Me!
Good morning! Well I am trying to get back into the swing after our weekend at the convention...geez, I didn't realize how much I bought! I am actually a little overwhelmed with all the new goodies but I am slowly getting them organized so that I can start playing with them! The card for today was actually created before my weekend away...and I am just getting it posted. Isn't it a cutie? The card base was cut using a file from Mary at mawmawslegacy...I love that flower border. My stamped image is from Gina K...and I am sure your recognize all the other goodies....cuttlebug embossing and nestabilities! The ribbon is from SU. Hope you enjoyed your visit today and have an awesome day! The sun is shinning so brightly today and that is such a welcome after all the rain we have had over the last few days! I am off to see you all....thanks so much for stopping in to see me!

Friendship card
Hello! Oh my it has been a while since I have posted. I am sorry for my absence...a lot has been going on in my world that has not afforded me the time to blog or much time to create either. I have started to do some extra duties at work and I have found that leaves me drained. We also have been trying to get some outside projects finished at home which took about 2 weeks to complete. The card I have to show today is for all of you!! It is a friendship card...thank you all for your friendship and support... Although this card is fairly simple in it's design, I really like how it turned out. The friendship sentiment is from SU. The designer paper is actually some vellum that was given to me by my friend Stef...and the pink and brown papers were from my paper stash of scraps. The border was cut using an MS punch. Thanks so much for visiting me and I plan to visit each and every one of you yet tonight to see what I have been missing! Lots I am sure. Thanks for stopping in to see me...and have a blessed evening.

Cricut Thank You
Good morning again! Well today I have one of my cricut creations for you! This card was created with an SVG file that I had purchased from Mary at Mawmawslegacy...she has some really really nice card designs...this was what Mary called a quickie card...and although it was a quick one to cut out and put together it does create an awesome card. I am a very simple designer most times and don't use a lot of embellies...and although a flower might have been a nice addition to this card I really didn't want to take away from it so I left it as it was designed. The Thank You and the mat behind it was also cut with the cricut. The blue cardstock is from Papertrey...their cardstock is really nice heavy cardstock. I hope you like it...I have several more cards created just waiting for their debut so I hope you come back by to visit and see what I have been up to! Have a blessed day today...and I will be by to see you as well. Take care and thanks so much for stopping in!

Land of the Free, Because of the Brave
Hello everyone! Hope your Sunday is a gorgeous day....we had lots of rain last night but we really needed it here! I have a rose bush to get planted today if the weather cooperates. My dear friend who has cancer brought me a knock out rose bush...the roses are the mosr awesome deep pink! What a sweet heart she is...she told me it was a knock out rose for a knock out friend! I love her for that! Well, here is one of 4 cards that I created for the SB digi day...is this eagle awesome or what? Tracey did a knock out job on these images. I found a mountain scene that I put into photoshop and added the eagle...with the American Flag blended into his head....I love how this card turned out. I created the sentiment myself. I hope you like my creation. Have a blessed Sunday! I will be by to visit all of you today...thanks so much for coming to see me!

Another Mother's Day Card
Good morning! I hope I don't bore you with my cricut designs...I am really having fun creating the last 2 nights! My poor hubby...he is retired so he is alone all day and then when I come home, the last 2 nights I have been in my craft room!! Alone some more! But he knows where I am at and comes to visit me regularly! Today's card is another creation using a couple of Penny's files...If you have SCAL and a die cutting machine, pay her a visit! I used a cut line file and a Lacy Butterfly file. The solid card stock is from SU, the pattened card stock is Itsy Bitsy from K&Company. And the sentiment is one I designed. I did spray the butterfly with Sparkle Shimmer Spray but it is hard to tell in the picture...I also took some Glittered Pearls and lined the butterfly's body with them. Used Nesties to cut out my sentiment and lightly inked it with Momento ink. This card is going to be for one of my dear DIL for Mother's Day...geez, hope they aren't looking! I will need another one so I may do one more!
Just a reminder...the card from yesterday has not been spoken for and is still available if you have a use for it! Just drop me a line at vldiaz@verizon.net and I will be glad to send it on to you. It needs a good home!
Well, thanks from the bottom of my heart for coming to visit me! I hope you enjoyed your stay and are inspired by my creations. I will be off to do some visiting with you later on today! I hope you have a wonderful day today.

Our Precious Angel
Good morning Ladies! Today is Thursday Sketch Challenge at SB for the Scrapbook Team. Our sketch was provided by Becky Fleck at http://www.pagemaps.com/ today. In our designs we are to incorporate an SB image. I chose this awesome angel that Tracey drew for her Enchantment Collection. If you have not been to the Boutique to see them you are really missing out...they are breathtaking! The darling little one in the pics is my only grandaughter...she will be 2 soon. All the paper used here was purchased at a sb store in Texas when we were on vacation in October last year. The flowers were some I have found at Hobby Lobby on sale...and how cool is the flower stem??? Did you notice it is the same brown polka dots as paper as our little angels shirt? Well I hope you enjoyed my creation and it inspires you to create a page of your own. Hop on over to the Stamping Boutique Challenge Blog to see the creations made by the rest of the SB team. Have a glorious spring day today...I wish I could be out in it too but I am working all day. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in and see me.

SU Thinking of You
Good morning! How are you all doing today? I am feeling better today after another round of a cold...the worst has passed I think and I am back on the mend. Last night I stayed up till almost 1 AM playing in my room...trying to create and get inspired....having a rough time coming up with ideas lately. The card that I made for today was designed with the SU set Thoughts and Prayers. I inked the flowers with VersaMark and then embossed with clear embossing powder..the sentiment was also embossed with VersaMark and then embossed with white embossing powder. The border is a MS punch. This card was mailed to a new blogging friend who is going through a rough time with her health and I just wanted to let her know that my prayers and thoughts were with her during her difficult times. I hope you enjoyed your stay with me today and I will be sure to get out to see what you all have been up to as well. Thanks so much...may you day be blessed!

Cuttlebug card
Good morning! Well today's card is a simple cuttlebug card...but I think it is pretty. I created it using part of the Damask Frame cuttlebug die/embossing set...added some borders using some nestabilities and some ribbon. The stamp is part of a stamp from SU...didn't ink up the whole stamp as it wouldn't fit! I really need to get busy creating so I may not have anything to post tomorrow...but I will be back as soon as I can with some more goodies for you. Oh and yesterday, I spent the day with my friend Glitterbabe! We went to a stamp/craft show in St. Charles yesterday at the fairgrounds....my very first one! We had a blast and are sooooo looking forward to our June trip to Collinsville! The spot that Stef and I were both intriqued with was PK Bling! OMG, that was amazing glitter they have! Of course you know our Glitterbabe!!!! She HAD to get her hands in that sparkly stuff! I hope to make a card using the products we bought from that booth this week so be looking out for them! Have a wonderful day today and keep thinking SPRING! It is almost here! Thanks so much for stopping in to see me!

Freebie Tulips
Happy Friday ladies! Oh gosh am I glad the weekend is here! First because I am beat and ready for a break from work and second because I plan on spending some time with Glitterbabe on Sunday and can't wait! Well this card is a nice springy card and the image was a freebie from Fred She Said...she created it for the Stars and Stamps blog...be sure to visit their blog! Lots of inspiration. I had a blast coloring this image with my copics! I must say this is really the first time in a long time I have been happy with my coloring! Does that mean I am finally getting it??? LOL! But the real challenge for me with this card was the border! I used a MS around the page punch...well all of us who use these punches know that you can only use certain sizes of paper to create the punched design....my image did not fit into those dimensions. So I punched 3 different pieces of paper out with the punch and then lined them up to go around my card....lot of work...turned out ok...not sure I will do that again...but it was a challenge I was not going to give up on. Hope you like it! Also, I wanted to reminde you that if you have not commented on my giveaway card on my Wednesday post, you have until noon today to post a comment there. I will be posting the winner on my blog either later on today or Saturday morn! Thanks tons for stopping in to see me and leaving some love...have a great day today!
