Stamping Boutique Blog Hop (DAY 2)

Good morning ladies and welcome to day 2 of our Blog hop! First I want to thank all of you who stopped by yesterday and left some love! I have been under the weather for almost 3 days now with what I think is just a cold, but it has really knocked my socks off so I do not have a new card to show you all today. I hope I am not disappointing my followers....but here is my card for today. This is an image from the Boutique called Snowman Laundry....I had scored the card on the Scor Pal and colored the image with copics. The sentiment was computer generated and the ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. Hope you had fun on the hop and will stop by the Stamping Boutique to see all the wonderful images created by Tracey and Stef...and also by myself! Yes, I design sentiments for the boutique as well! Have a great day and a great weekend...I hope to be back with some fresh creations tomorrow or Monday if this cold cooperates! Thanks tons for stopping by....ooops, I forgot to mention that the next stop on your hop is to Rhonda's blog!

Hugs,
Vicki

Stamping Boutique Blog Hop (DAY 1)

Welcome to the Stamping Boutique's blog hop. If you got to me from Christy's blog, then you are on the right path! If not you will want to start at the beginning of the hop so you don't miss a thing! Below I will list the hop order in case you may get lost! The SB DT is really excited to have you join in the fun...Tracey is debuting her new Medieval collection! Included in this collection there are: A dragon with a baby dragon, a princess, a prince, a unicorn, a castle globe, twirling princess, and baby princess.. and lastly Tracey has added two gorgeous scrolls--one that says "Once upon a time" and one that says "The End"-- And of course there are prizes!! There is a big grand prize on the last stop of the hop-which is Tracey's! There are so many exciting things going on over at the Boutique...we have a new Challenge Blog and Tracey has a new space of her own!
For my card today I used the Twirling Fairy image from the Stamping Boutique. I colored her digitally, added some Diamond Stickles to her dress and to her wings. The sentiment is one of my designs at the Boutique...Be sure to check them out while you are there. Well get going...onto the next stop which is Rhonda! Have a great time on the hop...and be sure to stop in tomorrow for the last day of the hop to see another creation!

Stamp Camp Card

Are you ready for another Blast from the Past? Told you I had more! This was one of the first cards I made at a SU Stamp Camp! It turned out nice...and was really a simple design...although the flower was a challenge. And would you believe that I bought some of those center brads and have NOT used a one yet????!!! Guess I should dig them out and use them! Well today is not supposed to be a good weather day here...calling for an ice storm and possible thunderstorms. Sure wish I could stay home and play but not an option so off to work I go. Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping in to see me....I really appreciate all the love and encourgement that you leave. I will be by to see all of you again tomorrow.
HUGS!

Stamping Boutique Copics Challenge

Today I have something a little different for you. I have created a scrapbook page that someday I hope to use on a recipie scrapbook. The challenge over at SNR was to create a non card item with one/or all of the images provided...and they were all cooking theme related. The page was created digitally...and the 3 Stamping Boutique images were colored with copics. This was a very fun challenge once I could get my mind wrapped around a non card theme! Stop on over at SNR to join in the fun...we would love to see what you create. Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to stop by again tomorrow for another Blast from the Past! LOL.

Cuttlebug Love You

Well are you ready for the blast from the past that I promised you yesterday? LOL..the card for today is one of those cards! It was created with paper from some paper stack...the embossed white layer is from a Cuttlebug folder set called Love Language...the senitment and hearts are also a part of that set. The zig zag at the bottom of the card is a Cuttlebug folder as well but I am not recalling the name of it. HMMMM...now looking at this card, what would I have done differently if I was to have created it today and not a year ago? I could tell you a few things but am afraid I would embarrass myself! Have you ever thought about going back to look at your style over the past year or so to see how you have changed or grown? You might just surprise yourself! Hope you enjoyed this Blast from the Past....there will be a few more this week...Oh and please stop in to see Rhonda at Bumblebee Creations....you will be glad you did...she not only has the most awesome card creations but also is giving away some yummy blog candy! There is a link to the blog candy in my sidebar....hurry the chance to win expires Sunday Jan 24! Take care and have a wonderful day today. Thanks tons for stopping by and leaving me some love!

Spring Has Sprung

Oh wow, this is Sunday night and I cannot believe this weekend is gone already! And I had no time for blogging! But I did get to spend time with my grandbabies and sons and DILs so I am a happy camper. Over the next few days, I am going to be showing you cards that I actually created about a year ago...when I first decided to try my hand at making cards...some are a little not so good...but I believe it will show that I have grown in my creating and how my style has changed...NO LAUGHING!! Well, OK if you must...and I will laugh along with you! Today's card actually is one that I really liked how it turned out...the card base was made out of some paper I had gotten from Marco's Papers some time ago...I embossed it with the cuttlebug folder Floral Fantasy...added the butterflies which are from Spellbinders...I layered them for dimension. The sentiment is computer generated. Although spring has not sprung here in the Illinois Valley...we are much warmer than we have been for a week or two. Hope your weekend was a great one and I will be off to see you all tomorrow. Thanks for stopping in to see me today!

Hugs,
Vicki
