Need a Lift?

Good morning again! So glad to see everyone again today! I sure hope you had a chance to stop in at the Stamping Boutique yesterday to see the new images that Tracey, Stef and I had for Fab Friday...were they awesome or what? And today is another digi release over at Squigglefly so hop on over there to see what goodies are in store....from the sneak peaks we have seen, it looks to be a good one again! Today I plan on getting my tree down...yes....it is still up! Took me forever to get it up and now forever to get it down! Got some new paper racks from a scrapbooking store downtown that closed down for a really good price that hubby is going to hang for me and I hope after getting all that organized I can find some time to play! Speaking of playing....today's card was one that I made while playing in a challenge over at Squigglefly a week or so ago. Stef's hubby had a heart attack and Holly started a challenge over at Squigglefly for us to create get well cards for him. The response was overwhelming...and Stef's honey is doing great now. The card deets are....the stamp was from Stampabilities Gruffies line called Wheelbarrow Ride...colored with copics...matted and mounted on white card stock that I had scored with my Scor Pal....The sentiment was computer generated. Hope you enjoyed looking at it. Well I am off to start my day today...lots to do....just hoping I get it all done. Have a wonderful day today and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by and leaving me some love!

Squigglefly Color Challenge

Good morning! And what a snowy morning it is...we are going to be blessed with LOTS of snow today! Hope you are all doing great today! I wanted to share a card with you that I created for the Squigglefly Color Challenge hosted by Stef over at SNR. The colors to use in the challenge are Brown, Turquois, and Olive Green...and of course you need to use a Squigglefly image...if you haven't been to Squigglefly lately you really need to go check them out...there are some new artists as well as some awesome new images! It was so hard for me to pick an image that I wanted to work with so I chose the one above. All the cardstock is from Stampin Up except for the card base. I colored the image in a turquois color, cut it out with Oval nestie..backed it with the scalloped oval nesti and then cut the Fleur De Lis (Shapeabilities) pendant out 2 times...once in brown and once in turquois. I pop dotted the image off the paper and added a bow. Really liking how it turned out. Please take some time and visit the SNR Squigglefly Color Challenge area and come play along...I know Stef and all the rest of the girls would love you to play!
And also today is Fab Friday at the Stamping Boutique...Tracey, Stef, and I are all releasing some new images...be sure to stop in to see all the goodies we have created for you. Well hugs to all, thanks for coming to see me! Hope your day is simply wonderful!

Loads of Love

Holy Snow!!! We are getting quite a lot of snow right now! It is beautiful...nice to see new snow cause the old snow was getting dirty. Would be a nice day to stay home and play but I do have to try to get to work. Maybe I will be lucky and the office will close early. But anyhoooo, today's card was created for Stef's sketch challenge at the Boutique at Yahoo....come join in the fun! The inside of my card(the white hearts) was cut using the cricut...the image is from The Stamping Boutique...and if you haven't been over there lately you don't know what you are missing! Tracey and Stef have some awesome images and I have started doing digital sentiments for The Stamping Boutique as well....back to the card.....the ribbon and heart buttons were from my stash. Actually a friend of mine gave me the hearts last year after Valentines Day and I was glad to put them to use. The sentiment on the card was computer generated. And of course, you know me, I had to add some bling to my card with the Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pens. Hope you enjoyed your stay today and I look forward to seeing you again. Thanks tons for stopping by.

Cricut file

Good morning! Hope you all had a wonderful time with the challenge yesterday! There were a lot of creative cards and ideas. For today's card, I played with a file for the cricut that I had downloaded from Shelly at Paper and Flowers. Shelly had shared one of her cricut creations on her blog...isn't this a beautiful design? I typically don't create 5x7 cards but this really turned out nice. The card with the Forever Friends stamp on it was a SU stamp that I added and Happy Birthday was computer generated on the other card prior to cutting. Thanks Shelly for such a beautiful card design...I am sure I will use it a lot. It seems we may be hunkering down for another snow storm tonight and tomorrow....up to 8 inches with significant blowing and drifting...and then another cold snap that is supposed to be worse than the one we just had! Holy moley we were actually colder than Serbia the other day! Thanks so much for stopping by again today...hope all is well with you...I will surely be by to visit later today.

Papertake Challenge

Good morning! Well I am hoping to be back on track starting today! Thanks tons for sticking with me! Today's card is one that is created for the Papertake Weekly challenge that is sponsored by The Stamping Boutique. Please be sure to stop by both places and join in the fun! Tracey is offering 5 images up for grabs to one lucky winner. The challenge is as follows and your freebie is Audrey's Brand New Dress:

New Beginnings
How you interpret this is entirely up to you.
It could be a card for something new ie a new house, new baby etc etc or you could use something 'new' on your card - maybe something that Santa brought you!!
Be sure to check out what the TSB DT has done this week with the challenge and show us you projects. Remember to for your chance at the prize you must upload your cards to Papertake Weekly blog.

For my card... I chose to use a new image freebie Tracey has provided for the challenge on the SNR forum...this is Audery in her new dress....isn't she just so sweet....I colored the image with Copics...the background is colored in Photoshop. I added a ribbon and flower (the flower came from a stash of goodies from Stef (Glitterbabe) with a little stickles added to it) and a digi sentiment created by myself. Yes, I am a digital artist! If you haven't had a chance, please stop by The Stamping Boutique to see all the goodies in the store! Well, I hope you enjoyed your visit today as much as I enjoy having you! Thanks for all the love you leave.

Happy New Year!

Good morning to all my friends out there! And welcome to my new followers! I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year! I am sorry for not keeping up over the last week....I ended up getting a horrible cough that I am still struggling with BUT do feel that it is better today...just having a little trouble breathing. And Friday was my day to take my monthly medication for osteoporosis....I was diagnosed 2 months ago and the med knocks me on my tail for about 2 days. I do feel much better today SO I hope to be able to post a card for you a little later on in the day today. Thanks for being patient with me and sticking with me! I promise to get back on track! I have to! Thanks for stopping in to check on me!
