Need a Lift?

Good morning again! So glad to see everyone again today! I sure hope you had a chance to stop in at the Stamping Boutique yesterday to see the new images that Tracey, Stef and I had for Fab Friday...were they awesome or what? And today is another digi release over at Squigglefly so hop on over there to see what goodies are in store....from the sneak peaks we have seen, it looks to be a good one again! Today I plan on getting my tree down...yes....it is still up! Took me forever to get it up and now forever to get it down! Got some new paper racks from a scrapbooking store downtown that closed down for a really good price that hubby is going to hang for me and I hope after getting all that organized I can find some time to play! Speaking of playing....today's card was one that I made while playing in a challenge over at Squigglefly a week or so ago. Stef's hubby had a heart attack and Holly started a challenge over at Squigglefly for us to create get well cards for him. The response was overwhelming...and Stef's honey is doing great now. The card deets are....the stamp was from Stampabilities Gruffies line called Wheelbarrow Ride...colored with copics...matted and mounted on white card stock that I had scored with my Scor Pal....The sentiment was computer generated. Hope you enjoyed looking at it. Well I am off to start my day today...lots to do....just hoping I get it all done. Have a wonderful day today and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by and leaving me some love!

HUGS,

Vicki

Congratulations

Thank goodness for Friday's! Although this has been a short week for me since I did not return to work until Tuesday, it has been hectic, long and exhausting. I am really looking forward to the weekend. On to today's card...this card kind of "just happened". The card base I cut on my cricut from the Beyond Birthdays cartridge. I then embossed the front of the card with the Cuttlebug Textiles folder that was inked with Stampabilities gold ink. The embellie that the Congrats is embossed on was a piece of some scrap that was left over from something else I had cut...inked again...with a brayer and gold ink. The gold ribbon was some I had purchased at HL during a sale. I hope to start doing a little more with my cricut too...it has been neglected lately. :) Well enough for now, hope you enjoyed your visit and please come back to see me soon. Thanks to all of you who comment on my work! Have a wonderful Friday!

Fall Blessings

Welcome to the first day of Fall! I really wanted to create a fall type card today...not sure I really accomplished my mission but this is what I created. The paper is from K&Company Tim Coffey Fall Paper Pack. This is an awesome pack of paper. The bottom edge of the card was scalloped with one of my Fiskars punches. I altered the orignal paper a little by adding a brown acorn stamp and although you really cannot see it, I also stamped some gold leaves on the paper. The Gold ink used is from Stampabilites and the brown ink is Stampin Up Chocloate Chip. The Blessed embossed sentiment was created by embossing a metal plate made by Pressed Petals. The package came with 3 metal tags..Love, Cherish, and Blessed. I put the Blessed tag through the Cuttlebug and then used a brayer to roll the gold ink over the embossing. I didn't want the "look" to be perfect as the background of the paper is actually crackled so I was pleased with the way it turned out. Thanks so much for visiting me today!
