Curiosity

Good morning! Wow it is going to be a challenge getting to work this morning! The fog here is so dense...second day in a row! Yesterday the fog was still hanging around here till almost noon....hope this is a sign spring is coming! Well on to the card for today....take a look at this image...is it a beauty or what? This is another of Tracey's images over at the Stamping Boutique....Curiosity. I colored the image with copics, chalked the background, Cut the image out mounted it on my card nestled in the swirls (which were leftover from a cricut cut). The flowers were white paper flowers that I colored with copic markers. The sentiment is actually a Christmas stamp that I had gotten at JoAnn Fabrics one day...thought it worked well with this image. And, oh gosh, I have to tell you I started using Papertrey paper...it is awesome paper and love my purchase. I really recommend their paper if you are looking for some nice heavy cardstock...and it works well with copics. Well, I better get my work day started. Hope yours is an awesome day! Serenity

Hello! I am so glad to be back home and creating again...and will be able to visit all of you again! Being away from my craft room was hard...and it was even harder to not be able to visit all of you to see what you have been up to! But this week should be better for me so let's keep our fingers crossed. And oh my gosh...you just have to see the new images Tracey has been creating! Meet Serenity...is she not the most awesome angel you have ever seen!??? She is new to the Boutique...Tracey really did a great job with her. I created the card in photoshop so I could do the gradient background and the sentiment...once printed, I colored the image with copics and added some bling with my Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pens. The corners were punched with a Fiskars punch that I have in my stash. I really love this image and will be using it a lot I believe! Brotherly Love

Good morning! Well today I have something a little different for you! I am on the Scrapbook Team for the Stamping Boutique...and our task for today was to create a scrapbook page using the following sketch.

Our sketch was provided by  Becky Fleck at Page Maps. This was really an awesome sketch to work with! My page was created all digitally...and Tracey's sweet AJ image from the Stamping Boutique was colored digitally as well. I am real happy with how my page turned out. I need to catch up on my scrapbooking...with all the beautiful grandbabies I have...I have lots to scrapbook about! Hope you enjoyed looking! I won't be back for a few days as I will be in a training all day today and in the air most of the day tomorrow getting back home. Once I get back home, I have to get busy creating again! Good morning ladies! Well here is a card I created some time ago and didn't get posted! The stamp is one of the $1.00 stamps from Inkadinkado...got it at Michael's I think! As you can see I used my square nestabilities to emboss a frame around the stamped image. I really like how it turned out. The base of the card was embossed with the Sizzix Vines folder. I am in Arizona on a business trip...wow it is beautiful here today...going to get up to 75! I am not going to want to go back home...but I hope this beautiful weather makes its way to the midwest soon! I am anxious for spring. Bless you all for coming to see me and leaving me a little love.

Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone! Well today, I have another card using one of the newest released images from Tracey...the circus line. Isn't this cute with the dogs? And AJ makes one awesome clown! I colored this image with copics, added some fancy corners and a flower and what a cute birthday card this makes! I won't be able to post everyday this week but should be able to a couple of days....I am in Arizona at a work conference all week...I hope to get back on my daily posting AND visiting once I get home again. Thanks so much for your continued support...I couldn't do this with out all of you...thanks for everything!

Cute Card Thursday Blog Challenge

Hello everyone! I have to apologize for not being here for so long and for not visiting you all for quite some time too! I have started a training course for our staff where I work that consumed most of February and all of March! Over the last week and a half I have driven anywhere from 200 to 300 miles a day to provide this training...sure does not leave much time to do the things I love. However I have this card to show you today that was created using an image from The Stamping Boutique...the card was actually created for Cute Card Thursday blog challenge. We were to go wild with ribbon! I really don't have a ton of ribbon and as it turned out not much that would go with this image after I colored it but I did add some ribbon! Thi image was colored with copic markers and some Crystal Effects was added to the rainbow and to the portholes of the ark. Added a little glitter to the water area.
