Last of the Blog Hop Cards

Good Morning! Well ladies, today is the last of the Blog hop cards...I hop you have enjoyed my creations. I know my style is rather simple...I don't do a whole lot of embellishment...guess that is me...just a simple gal! The image I used was the flag with eagle image...colored with copics, cut out and embossed with Nesties. My background paper was some I had gotten from my friend Stef a while ago....added a few stars and done! I did use a corner punch on my background papers to try to match up with my Nestie mats. Remember yesterday I mentioned that the Stamping Boutique would be having a DT call? Well that is posted now...go here to get the deets!

God Bless America

Good morning! Well today is another one of my cards for the SB Blog Hop that was on Saturday. As I had mentioned in an earlier post, the blog hop was dedicated to our men and women in uniform. This card was created using the Eagle head...all coloring and creation was done digitally. I really loved how it turned out....If you look close enough you can actually see the texture that I added to the beak and eagle's head digitally. The star I cut out on my cricut and just made each layer of it a tad bigger. The sentiment was computer generated.

Today was a rather sad day for me...I decided not to continue on my DT path at the Stamping Boutique as of May 1. There will be a new DT call for the Boutique very soon so be on the lookout for it! Tracey is awesome to work for and she takes very good care of her Design Team. I want to thank Tracey for giving me the opportunity...this was my very first DT assignment...I served two terms and I did enjoy it. I will continue to create with the SB images as they are of the best quality and design. I will also continue to create sentiments and most likely give away some freebies from time to time. Right now I am having a creative spurt with my cricut so I will contine down that path for a while. I have one more card created from the blog hop that I will post tomorrow and then I promise to get my camera out to take pics of my many cricut creations over the past few days. I can't wait for you to see them so please check back in. I hope your day is a great one today...thank you for leaving all the encouraging comments...I appreciate them more than you know. Have a MOOtiful Day

Hello all! I wanted to share with you my card for the one stop blog hop that TSB had on Wednesday. This card was not at all favored on the hop...I just don't have the knack sometimes. I like to be different in my designing and that most times is not what others like. That's ok....I had fun creating this card. The image I used from the Stamping Boutique was AJ the Farmer...he is a doll isn't he? The cow in the background was part of a free coloring page that I had found on the internet that I edited in photoshop. The clouds and sun were created in photoshop using brushes. I colored the image with my copics and the sentiment was computer generated. I added a little glitter pen to the sun to make it sparkle. The card really is rather cute in real life! I have been very busy outside this week trying to get the yard back in shape after winter...got my pond opened and all my grasses trimmed. Last night I mulched 4 flower beds...have more to do but today it is raining so that may have to wait for a better day! Well hope your week has been the best ever...and that the weekend coming up is also wonderful! I will be out to see what you have been up to a little later in the day today. Curiosity

Good morning! Wow it is going to be a challenge getting to work this morning! The fog here is so dense...second day in a row! Yesterday the fog was still hanging around here till almost noon....hope this is a sign spring is coming! Well on to the card for today....take a look at this image...is it a beauty or what? This is another of Tracey's images over at the Stamping Boutique....Curiosity. I colored the image with copics, chalked the background, Cut the image out mounted it on my card nestled in the swirls (which were leftover from a cricut cut). The flowers were white paper flowers that I colored with copic markers. The sentiment is actually a Christmas stamp that I had gotten at JoAnn Fabrics one day...thought it worked well with this image. And, oh gosh, I have to tell you I started using Papertrey paper...it is awesome paper and love my purchase. I really recommend their paper if you are looking for some nice heavy cardstock...and it works well with copics. Well, I better get my work day started. Hope yours is an awesome day! Brotherly Love

Good morning! Well today I have something a little different for you! I am on the Scrapbook Team for the Stamping Boutique...and our task for today was to create a scrapbook page using the following sketch.

Our sketch was provided by  Becky Fleck at Page Maps. This was really an awesome sketch to work with! My page was created all digitally...and Tracey's sweet AJ image from the Stamping Boutique was colored digitally as well. I am real happy with how my page turned out. I need to catch up on my scrapbooking...with all the beautiful grandbabies I have...I have lots to scrapbook about! Hope you enjoyed looking! I won't be back for a few days as I will be in a training all day today and in the air most of the day tomorrow getting back home. Once I get back home, I have to get busy creating again! Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone! Well today, I have another card using one of the newest released images from Tracey...the circus line. Isn't this cute with the dogs? And AJ makes one awesome clown! I colored this image with copics, added some fancy corners and a flower and what a cute birthday card this makes! I won't be able to post everyday this week but should be able to a couple of days....I am in Arizona at a work conference all week...I hope to get back on my daily posting AND visiting once I get home again. Celebrate

Well last night was digi day at The Stamping Boutique! If you were unable to join us, please be sure to hop on over to the Boutique and check out Tracey's new images! They are awesome as always! Above is a card I created with one of them....what a cute clown huh? I colored this one digitally. All the paper on this card was from DCWV Nursery Boy paper stack. The sentiment is from JustRite stamps. Lots of glitter going on here but you can't see it very well. Today is a busy day for me...babysat last night and today we will babysit again and go to church.
