Anniversary Card

Good evening! Well I did get to do some awesome visiting last night and I was so inspired by all that I saw and really realized how much I truly miss visiting all of you. Today's card was created for my son and daughter in law's first wedding anniversary. They were married a year ago on June 5! Oh my gosh how time has flown! I created this card using the same colors that I had created their wedding invitations and programs with. Lucky me I had some of it left over! This is a 6x6 gatefold card. The panels were embossed with the Sizzix Diamonds and Dots embossing folder. The medallion is a Spellbinders Pendant called Lotus. The sentiment was created using JustRite Wedding Stamp Ensemble kit and then cut with the Circle Nestie and embossed. I sprayed the whole card with Shimmerz Frost...although you really can't see it. I didn't have a 6x6 envelope so I made my own using my Scor Pal. If you would like to know how to do that there are directions on their web site for using the scor pal to make all different sizes of envelopes. Sure comes in handy when I make an odd sized card that I don't have an envie for. Well I hope you all had a great day today! Thanks for taking time to stop in and see me! We are sitting with two of our grandkids tonight overnight...how blessed we are to have our grandkids so close so we can love on them!

Friendship card

Hello! Oh my it has been a while since I have posted. I am sorry for my absence...a lot has been going on in my world that has not afforded me the time to blog or much time to create either. I have started to do some extra duties at work and I have found that leaves me drained. We also have been trying to get some outside projects finished at home which took about 2 weeks to complete. The card I have to show today is for all of you!! It is a friendship card...thank you all for your friendship and support... Although this card is fairly simple in it's design, I really like how it turned out. The friendship sentiment is from SU. The designer paper is actually some vellum that was given to me by my friend Stef...and the pink and brown papers were from my paper stash of scraps. The border was cut using an MS punch. Thanks so much for visiting me and I plan to visit each and every one of you yet tonight to see what I have been missing! Lots I am sure. Thanks for stopping in to see me...and have a blessed evening.

HUGS!
