Another Cricut Thank you!

Whoooo hooo! Friday! I don't know about all of you, but I am so glad Friday has come. Gosh I wish my life away! We are hoping to get some of our fence up this weekend if the weather cooperates. And of course we always get to spend a little time with our grandbabies on the weekend...they are all growing so fast. What blessings we have in our lives...I thank God each and every day for our blessings. And speaking of "thank you" my card for today is a Thank You card created with one of Mary's files. Isn't this a cool card? I am enjoying playing with my cricut...however I hope to have a few stamped cards to show you in a few days too! I hope I have inspired all you with cricuts to get them out and start creating! If you are a fellow cricuteer, I would love to see your creations too! Thank you so much for coming by to see me today. Hugs to everyone!

Blog Award

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I opened my blog today to have a sweet message from one of my blogging friends Sandra...she gave me this wonderful Sunshine Award...thanks so much Sandra. Sandra always seems to know when I am needing a lift. Bless her kind heart. Take a hop over to see Sandra and her beautiful creations...she has some awesome designs and really amazes me with the layouts she uses...Thanks so much Sandra.
For today's card, I have another cricut creation using a SCAL file from Mary again. This file is so intricate but cut so nicely...and would make a beautiful wedding card I think...but mine was a Just for You card!
The stamp and sentiment stamp for my card is from the Gina K Designs Spring Mix stamp kit...I love that kit and have not used it much since I purchased it so I thought I would pull it out for this card. I know I am rather a plane jane when it comes to designing...but again, I wanted the card design to stand out. Well, I am off to begin my day...I have not had a very good work week the past couple of weeks and am really getting burned out...so I may not get back here real soon but I will try...please come back back to see me. I will do my best to get out to see all of you real soon as well. Again, thanks so much to Sandra for making my day today.

Vicki

First Communion

Hello again! Well I have had lots going on!! The weekend was very very busy. We had some renovations going on on our glassed in patio...which gave me way more space out there for the grandbabies to play. God blessed us with two awesome sons who are both carpenters...and they help us out a lot. Our oldest son worked his magic and has a few other ideas...I need to get a nice coat of paint out there now. Saturday night we had 2 of our grandsons overnight and Sunday we helped our neighbors celebrate their daughter's First Communion. So that is my card for today. The file is an SVG file that I cut on my cricut from Mary at Mamawslegacy. I love this file...good for soooo many different occasions. I embossed the top layer cross with the Victoria cuttlebug embossing folder...thought it tied in with the scrolly background. Well, hope you enjoyed my card today and I am inspiring you to get your cricut out and play with it! I have several cards made ahead so I should be able to post a little more regular now. I am going to be off to do some visiting too so I can enjoy your wonderful creations! Thanks so much for stopping in!

Cricut Thank You

Good morning again! Well today I have one of my cricut creations for you! This card was created with an SVG file that I had purchased from Mary at Mawmawslegacy...she has some really really nice card designs...this was what Mary called a quickie card...and although it was a quick one to cut out and put together it does create an awesome card. I am a very simple designer most times and don't use a lot of embellies...and although a flower might have been a nice addition to this card I really didn't want to take away from it so I left it as it was designed. The Thank You and the mat behind it was also cut with the cricut. The blue cardstock is from Papertrey...their cardstock is really nice heavy cardstock. I hope you like it...I have several more cards created just waiting for their debut so I hope you come back by to visit and see what I have been up to! Have a blessed day today...and I will be by to see you as well. Take care and thanks so much for stopping in!

Last of the Blog Hop Cards

Good Morning! Well ladies, today is the last of the Blog hop cards...I hop you have enjoyed my creations. I know my style is rather simple...I don't do a whole lot of embellishment...guess that is me...just a simple gal! The image I used was the flag with eagle image...colored with copics, cut out and embossed with Nesties. My background paper was some I had gotten from my friend Stef a while ago....added a few stars and done! I did use a corner punch on my background papers to try to match up with my Nestie mats. Remember yesterday I mentioned that the Stamping Boutique would be having a DT call? Well that is posted now...go here to get the deets!
Well tomorrow I will start to show my cricut creations...be sure to stop in to see them if you are interested. I would love to see you! Well, I am off and running today so have a blessed Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by to see me!

God Bless America

Good morning! Well today is another one of my cards for the SB Blog Hop that was on Saturday. As I had mentioned in an earlier post, the blog hop was dedicated to our men and women in uniform. This card was created using the Eagle head...all coloring and creation was done digitally. I really loved how it turned out....If you look close enough you can actually see the texture that I added to the beak and eagle's head digitally. The star I cut out on my cricut and just made each layer of it a tad bigger. The sentiment was computer generated.

Today was a rather sad day for me...I decided not to continue on my DT path at the Stamping Boutique as of May 1. There will be a new DT call for the Boutique very soon so be on the lookout for it! Tracey is awesome to work for and she takes very good care of her Design Team. I want to thank Tracey for giving me the opportunity...this was my very first DT assignment...I served two terms and I did enjoy it. I will continue to create with the SB images as they are of the best quality and design. I will also continue to create sentiments and most likely give away some freebies from time to time. Right now I am having a creative spurt with my cricut so I will contine down that path for a while. I have one more card created from the blog hop that I will post tomorrow and then I promise to get my camera out to take pics of my many cricut creations over the past few days. I can't wait for you to see them so please check back in. I hope your day is a great one today...thank you for leaving all the encouraging comments...I appreciate them more than you know. Till tomorrow!

I Pledge Allegiance

Hello again! Off to another crazy work week! I wanted to show you another card I did for the SB digi day on Saturday. This card used the Flag image that Tracey has in this series. I colored the flag with copics, used my Clear GellyRoll Stardust glitter pen on the stars. The paper I used on my background was created digitally. For my sentiment, I put the Pledge of Allegiance...cut it out with Nestabilities and added some ribbon and a couple of silver stars. I have 2 more to show you this week and then I will post some of the creations I have been making with my cricut. I was lucky enough to get a lot of cutting time in this weekend so I should be able to post cards all week this week! I feel like I am getting back into the swing of things after having such a loss of mojo for quite some time! We had a wonderful weekend...spent quality time with all 4 of our grandchildren and had dinner with our oldest son's family last night. I hope your weekend was awesome...and the upcoming week goes well for you. Thanks so much for stopping in to see me and my creations! I have even caught up with a lot of my visiting...if I have missed you, I will be by to see you soon!
