Good morning ladies! It is Thursday today and time for Glitterbabe's Challenge! This week our theme is Asian...Glitterbabe gave us a couple of images to work with and the only other requirment was bling, sparkle! I chose to work with the Panda image...she is one cute Panda...and she is holding a stalk of bamboo...so I thought what better sentiment for my card than Good Luck. The sentiment is out of a SU stamp set . My background paper was embossed using a cuttlebug folder...Stef embossed it for me and sent it home with me last weekend. Well the only thing left was to add some bling...and I struggled with that!!! WHAT!!!???? Don't know where to add bling...I can just hear Glitterbabe! So I took my clear Sakura GellyRoll Stardust pen and outlined the embossed area. Came out rather cute! Be sure to get on over to the challenge blog and play along with us this week! We had a ton of awesome entries for the last challenge...glad I am not the one who has to pick a winner cause you would all be getting prizes! Well, get going...I am going to start my day. Thank you for stopping in to see me today.

Vellum Thanks
Good morning!Wow what a nice crisp morning I woke up to!!! 56 degrees!!! It actually feels good for a change but not sure I am ready for this colder weather yet. I do love the change of seasons but just not quite ready for it to be this cool! Not complaining though! Well today's post is going to be short...got to run. I played with creating a flower out of cut out folded circles...I love how it turned out and it was super duper easy to do. Added a vellum background that I had embossed with a couple of flowers in the corners...the sentiment was stamped on the vellum with white ink. Kind of a fun card! Don't forget to comment in the candy area so you can have a chance to win some goodies! Thanks to all who have left me love already...I am so appreciative of you all! Have an awesome day today and look for me at your door a little later!

Fred She Said
Good morning! Well, todays card is featuring the one and only Rosie...a precolored design by Fred She Said...Now isn't that one cute pup??? And if only I could color like that!!! Oh well some day when I grow up maybe...or in my next life! Honestly that is one cute digi. The front of my card is an embossing folder from the Cuttlebug Heritage set...it is a set of 4 folders... 2 5x7 folders and 2 A2 size folders. The center is not open in this embossing folder...I put an oval nestability in the middle to cut the opening in the center. The tag is a Nestability too...Fancy Tags. I guess I could have dressed this up a little bit more now that I look at it but I thought maybe I would mess it up if I went too far. You know how that goes...oh I could do this and this and THAT messed it up!!! Thought I would leave well enough alone. Throughout the rest of the week you may see a few more of those folders from this set...they were all awesome. If you can't tell, I am an embossing addict...and if there is treatment for that....I DONT WANT IT! Thanks for all the awesome comments on yesterday's card...I actually got a request from a lady at work yesterday to create a wedding card for her using that design...although she would like the wedding couple's name in the middle rather than the "together forever" so when I get that done I will post it too. What I have discovered BY MISTAKE with the Cuttlebug Embossing Plus folders, is that there is a back flap on the folder that will allow you to lift it up and apply color to the embossed area BEFORE you remove it from the embossing folder. That is way cool. Ok...I have had one cup of coffee too many as I am blabbing away. Thanks so much for stopping in to see me today and I will be out to see all of you that leave me love later on this evening! Have a blessed day!

Good Monday Morn! Well I had a very creative, crafty weekend! Oh my gosh I didn't see any of my grandbabies this weekend! I am starting to go through withdrawls...but I did keep myself busy in my craft room. Today's card is really very blah as far as color goes but I think it turned out pretty good. This was created using one of the Cuttlebug embossing plus folders. OMG those things are so darn nice...but pricey. I think this one is called Brocade Window. The sentiment is an embossing folder that is in the Wedding #2 set from Sizzix. Added a few pearls and voila! I have some other ideas for this folder and will be making a few more wedding cards with it that is for sure. And I want to thank each and every one of you who took the time to comment on blog over the last few days! And I am almost up to 50 followers!!! WHOOOO HOOO! Later on this week I will be posting blog candy for my 1st anniversary of blogging! Be sure to check back! Thanks so much for blessing my day with your presence! I hope yours is wonderful and I will be out to see each of you later!

Friendship
Hello ladies! Well today's card is all about Friendship...and that is what we are all developing as we share our designs, ideas and ourselves with each other. I am so glad and blessed to have each and everyone of you in that ring of friendship! This card goes out to each of you with all my heart! The card base design and the sentiment design were both from Penny Duncan. This lady is one phenominal designer...God has blessed her with such a talent and she shares that talent unconditionally with all of us! Penny you are one dear friend! The card base I used was Penny's Oval Inner Scallop Card with Scallop Bottom...I am not certain this was the intended design...I had to size the card to paper that I had..but I do like how it turned out. The sentiment was actually created using a couple of Penny's digital designs that I took into Photshop and played with a little. Below is a close up of the sentiment:
I really enjoyed playing with Penny's files and love how my card came out. And speaking of friendship...yesterday I was one happy camper as I got to spend most of my day with Glitterbabe! We had an awesome time together...and do you see that my card is no longer laying flat on my table when i take pics??? That is because Glitterbabe gave me that holder in the pic! How awesome is that...I am so pleased to finally have one of these to hold my cards for pictures. Well, I will close for today...I am back to playing! I hope your day is wonderful no matter what you are doing. Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me some love.

New Glitterbabe Challenge
Happy Thursday! And welcome to a new Glitterbabe Challenge! Our challenge today is sponsored by Robyn's Fetish...we were given a choice of 4 images to use and the card must contain 2 flowers. Of course I fell in love with the bird image...colored it with copics, added a computer generated sentiment and stippled a little light blue on the background. I used sticker flowers...and yeah there are two flowers on the card...and I also added a sticker butterfly. I used a Martha Stewart punch to punch around the image and mounted it on some SU paper that I had leftover from another project. I am a little disappointed in my card this week...but I will do better next week...some days I am just off! Well I am off to work...thanks so much for coming by to see me...have a fantabulous day.

I am the Resurrection
Oh my goodness...I just had to share this card with you...it is now midnight, I have worked on this for about 2 hours! I am sooooooooo slow in making cards! I absolutely LOVE this sentiment from Squigglefly! This is designed by Roanne Mathias and is simply called Resurrection. Immediately when I got this in my hands, I knew what I wanted to do with it. The shape that I cut out on my cricut is one of Penny Duncan's Shaplies called Open Book...I followed Penny's awesome directions on how to cut AND emboss my shape and then created two more of the same in a little larger size. Tried to get the look of a book....in my mind...the Bible. And the cross is one of Penny's svg files as well. If you have not been out to visit Penny, please do...she is one talented lady and she LOVES flowers! You have got to see those flowers! After stippling my creation with Tim Holtz antique linen distress ink, I matted my "book" on a sheet of white paper that had been embossed with the Linen embossing folder from Paper Trey Inc...I am not sure it shows up well in the pic but in real life it is pretty. Take a hop on over to Squigglefly today and look around...there are so many awesome new releases, I just want them all! Well I hope my card for today inspires you to create. Have a Blessed day and thanks so much for stopping in to see me. I will be by to see each of you later on today.
