Good morning again! If you are looking for the FSS Blog hop posting, please go here. Today, I am sharing a creation using the Doodle Pantry Candy Corn Ants....OMG these ant images that Lori creates are the most fun to work with! Actually if I was truthful with you...I have worked with this image twice now! My dear granddaughter got up to my desk and took a marker to the first card I created with this image! OHHHH gosh, my DIL was horrified...ahhh it happens and she is such a cutie pie, how could I be mad???? So this is my second attempt at a creation with this image. I used the colored version of the image, cut it out with oval nestabilities. Lots going on here on this card...used MS punch to fancy up the corners of my frame around the image as well as create the inside border piece. I just had to play off of the ghost in the image so I used a cuttlebug die I had to cut out some cute little ghosts and place them in such a manner around the frame that looked like they were hiding behind the frame. The pumpkin is also a cuttlebug die as well as the BOO!. The flourish is from Cheery Lynn Designs called Fanciful Flourish. And of course I had to add some pizazz from Pizzazz Aplenty...the yellow beading around the image is from Judy. You will also see a little bling on the piece of candy corn...I used the Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pens to glitter up that candy! OHHH and the paper in the background is part of the colored image pack!!! What fun this card is! LOL I may just use this card as my dear granddaughter's Halloween card! Yeah one down, 4 to go!
Well not a lot planned today, may have a football game to go to later on this afternoon if the rain stops. Other than that, a free day for me! Hope you all are well, thanks tons for stopping in to see me and letting me share my fun as a Guest Designer for Doodle Pantry this month. Have a blessed day today.
HUGS!

For My Sweetie
Happy Valentine's Day to all! Today's valentine card was for my husband...The idea for the card came from Sue Nelson at Heart Prints. Basically the outside of the card (the white scalloped heart) is the largest size of the Nestabiliites Scalloped Heart dies...the next layer (the pink open heart) was created by folding the paper and cutting the heart from the next size down of the Nestabilities Heart die. Then the inside where the sentiment is was the next size down from that. Makes a small card but it is so darn cute! On the inside of my card I stamped my image....which was from the Lil Cupid Whimsie Doodles rubber stamp set that I had won a few weeks ago. Isn't that penguin just so cute. The sentiment was also part of that stamp set. I colored the image with my copics and then filled in the penguin's belly with liquid applique for some dimension and added some glitter to his wings. The background I chalked with some pink chalk. Turned out cute don't ya think. I could see doing a larger version of this on my cricut but have not had the chance to get that done...but it is an idea. The card base wouldn't always have to be used for Valentine's Day...done up the right way this idea would be perfect for a wedding card! Well, I hope you all have a wonderful day, and I thank you tons for stopping in to see me. I hope to have some free time today to catch up on my visiting!

I Love You
Happy Monday! Hope everyone's weekend was great. I spent the weekend enjoying my kids and grandkids on Friday night...Saturday I finally got to church after missing two weeks because of that cold/flu I had! Sunday was a fab day cause my hubby and I went and spent the day with Stef and her husband! The boys chatted and watched the super bowl and Stef and I shopped and crafted and chatted! We had a blast and time went by so fast. Today it was back to work! But I did have a few cards made up ahead...so here is one of them. The card base on this card was embossed with the Stylized Flowers cuttlebug folder. The heart is an SVG file that I had downloaded and cut on my cricut using the Sure Cuts a Lot software. I stamped the sentiment on the heart with a stamp from the Lil Cupid stamp set from Whimsie Doodles and embossed it with white embossing powder. I had thought this card would make a great Valentine's day card but really it could be used for any occasion. Well it is snowing pretty heavy here tonight and supposed to snow all day tomorrow so we will be covered in a new blanket of white again! Hope you are all doing great...thanks for stopping in today to visit with me. Have a wonderful night and I will see you all a little later.

Love
Good morning! I am finding I am off to a slow start with blogging...but I promise to get back to me....this illness really did knock my socks off. This is another card I had created before I got sick and just didn't get it posted. The card base was cut on my cricut using one of my cartridges. I am failing to remember which one at this moment but if you are interested in that, be sure to let me know so I can get that information to you! The heart stamps on the background are from a wonderful set of stamps that I had won from Whimsie Doodles called Lil Cupid...such a fun set to play with. I stamped the hearts in VersaMark ink and used clear embossing powder and my heat gun...created an awesome background. I added the white background behind the hearts embossed with the Love Language Cuttlebug embossing folder...I cut it so it would show slightly over the front edge of the card. The "love" sentiment was also cut with my cricut in Design Studio. On the inside of the heart, I cut a couple of hearts using the Nestabilities Hearts dies, embossed them and added a little glitter. Hope you liked my creation! Well off to start my day, and I hope yours is wonderful. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for sticking in there with me!

Won some blog candy!
Good morning! Well I have my house back in order and I did get a few cards done but didn't get pics of them yet..so I thought for now I would share some goodies with you that I was so lucky to have won! I participated in the Whimsie Doodles blog hop last week....there are some absolutely stunning images there. The hop was fun...at each blog we gathered a letter and put the letters into a word at the end that would give us a discount when placing an order. The images above are what I won...the bottom image is actually a rubber stamp set that is being sent to me along with a sample pack of paper from My Mind's Eye...I can't wait to be able to use them. Thanks to the DT of Whimsie Doodles for the fun and the goodies! I will post a new card created with a Squigglefly image a little later on today so I do hope you come back! Thanks for stopping in today!
