Good afternoon from rainy, cold Illinois! Fall is upon us...rather quickly this week. Today's card is one that I had done a while ago and just haven't decided what I really didn't like about it. I struggle with coloring and shadowing...well I think I can color...it is the shadowing and blending that get me every time! But here is my creation. The digital image is a freebie from
http://fred-she-said.blogspot.com/. I added some "raindrops" to the image to give it some interest. Of course I used the Nestabilities rectangle both classic and scalloped. The thank you sentiment is from a SU stamp set. Most likely I will not post a card tomorrow as I am off to see
Stef! I am so excited to finally get to meet her...she just cracks me up and makes me smile! Then when I get home I will be busy with my two of my grandsons who are coming for an overnight visit! Nice card Vicki! I love the raindrops you added, and I think your coloring is great! It's just different from your usual cards because I don't see the embossing. Maybe that's what's missing for you. Give Stef a hug from me when you see her.
