Just a few pictures from today...we had a wonderfully peaceful day today. The first picture is the sunrise this morning...absolutely awesome. We went to a park to view the oldest tree in the US...this tree is believed to be over 1,000 years old. It is an oak tree and it is HUGE. The girth of the trunk alone is said to be over 35 feet. We didn't stay too long cause the mosquitos were horrible. After lunch we spent most of the afternoon relaxing in the gezebo right by the water. The other pic here is just a shot of our balcony. :) Tomorrow we have a full day planned. We are off to see a historic museum in the morn and then we will travel south for a dolphin tour farther out into the gulf. Part of the tour will include viewing migratory birds as well as a 102 year old lighthouse. Hope to get lots of pics to show you. Well we are off to get a bite to eat and settle down on the balcony for a peaceful night. Take care and again, thanks tons for coming to see me!

ahhhhh! peace & quiet. the best.
hugs,
Looks gorgeous, Vicki. Did you find the local scrapbook store yet??
Oh Melissa, YES, I did find the local scrapbook store! Picked up some paper, a few rub ons, stickers, and some metal sentiments that I am going to try to use in the cuttlebug for embossing. I could have spent hours in there but Dad was with me so I made it as quick as possible!
Gorgeous pictures Vicki! I'm glad to be able to enjoy the tree without the mosquitoes! Glad to hear you are enjoying your trip.
