Good morning! Another rainy gloomy day here! My husband and I are going on a two week vaction to Texas in a week...and it will be so nice cause the weather there is like SUMMER! We really have not had good summer weather here this year. Ok...enough complaining about the weather! Today's card is a lot of Stampin Up. I actually made the background paper with a set of Stampin Up stamps...I like how it turned out. The butterfly is also from that SU stamp set (I believe)...once I colored it and glittered it up, I cut it out and attached it to the card with pop dots. I used my Spellbinders Shapabilities to create the tag and the sentiment was SU as well. The card base was SU card stock...I really like their card stock. I think the ribbon used on the sentiment tag was just some that I had picked up at Hobby Lobby for another project. Take care and have a good day! Thanks tons for stopping!

Vicki, this is just a lovely card! I love how you did the butterfly. Great job on your background too. You should let me know if you are going to be passing through Little Rock on your way to Texas and maybe we could meet up for a bit!

the card is fabulous. i love that background. i've gotten soooo far away from making the BG myself, it's nice to see it again.
babysitting again today and with this weather we're "locked in" right now she's painting.
