Design Team Member!
WHOOOO HOOOO! I am so excited to announce that I have been asked to be on the design team for Stamping Boutique! There are lots of exciting things going on over at the Boutique and the images are fabulous. Thanks to Tracey for giving me the chance to be a part of her team! It is a rainy night again here...I swear we are going to have to build an ark if this weather persists...thank goodness it is not SNOW yet! I will be back later with a card...waiting for my camera battery to charge.

Whew!! Finished the last Halloween card...this one is for my 10 year old grandson...hope he likes it. The paper for this card was from a package of Earth Tones AC Cardstock. I rather like their cardstock. The cut out on the card is a SVG file that I purchased and cut out on the cricut using Sure Cuts A Lot software. The "FREAKY" sentiment was from a package of Halloween epoxy embellishments fro Reminisce. That's all for tonight. Thanks again for stopping by.

Halloween Card
Happy Wednesday night! I sure hope you all had a good day today. Mine was not too bad actually and it was HUMP day to beat! I am trying so hard to catch up on my cards for Halloween for my grandchildren...one more to go after this one! Three of my babies are very young so I didn't want anything scary for them. Todays card base and layers were a collection of papers I had purchased in those big bundles we see at Hobby Lobby etc....sometimes I wonder why I buy those darn things cause I struggle with coordinating but don't think this one was too bad. The digital image I used on this card is called Witchy Poo that was a freebie on Doodle Place. I colored the sweet thing with copics and added a little Lavender Stickles to the buckle on his hat. The pumpkin is the Cuttlebug Pumpkin Spice die and embossing folder with a some stickles added to it also. I generated the sentiment on my computer and used the Spellbinders Double Ended Tags Shapeabilities. Thanks for visiting! Have a good evening! God Bless.

"Beary" Happy Halloween
Hello everyone! Well I am back from my conference in Arizona...and ready to get back to making cards! I missed visiting all of you! I will be trying to catch up this week. Speaking of catching up, I need to catch up on my Halloween cards! I still have two to make after this one. I really like how this card turned out. The image I used was one I won from the recent Whimsie Doodles blog hop..."Little Pumpkin". The image was colored with copics...I actually did have lots of fun playing with this image...feeling a little better about the coloring and shading. The sentiment was computer generated in photoshop. I used the classic and scalloped squares for Spellbinders to mat the image on the card base. The paper for the card base was from a Debbie Mumm Harvest and Holiday Glitter pak I had purchased at Jo-Ann Fabrics last fall. Thanks for stopping by...I hope to be here more often now that I am back home! Have a good day!

Thanks! (Again)
Good Friday morning! This is one week I am glad the week is over...it just hasn't been real nice to me! Today's card is a thank you card I created for Stef after our first meeting. I had gotten the black and white paper from my DIL and really liked the distressed look to it...thought it would go well with the embossing folder used. The sentiment is from SU and of course I used Nestibilites to frame it. The ribbon was from my Hobby Lobby stash! I just wanted to also let you know that I may not post as often for a week or so. I am on my way to Phoenix on Sunday morning for a work conference. The conference is pretty intense and I don't get much time to myself while out there but will sneak in to see all of you when I can...and hopefully post a few cards that I have made ahead. Have a great day today and as always I appreciate you stopping to see me.

Warm Wishes
Hello all! Today I tried my hand at an image from Stef. Yesterday I had to run out and get some of those awesome images. If you haven't checked them out yet, be sure to. The image I used here was Warm Wishes. I colored it with Copic markers. The paper was cardstock I had purchased at Hobby Lobby during one of their half off sales...I love those sales...a girl can never have enough paper! The embossing folder I used on this card was a Sizzix Snowflakes #3 folder...hmmm don't ask me what that #3 is for cause I haven't got a clue...but it is a pretty folder. I used the circle Nestabilities to cut the circles. The ribbon was purchased at Hobby Lobby at the end of the year last year and I am so glad to find a use for it! I hope your day went well today...I had a rough one but it is always nice to come home and play...cardmaking is like a CALGON bath...it takes me away!!! Thanks again so much for stopping by to see me and leaving some love. I appreciate you all.

Season's Greetings
Today is a sweet day for my friend Stef! She has been working hard at creating her own digital stamps and has a few for sale. I couldn't resist the temptation so I ran to get a few. The card base is a Sizzix embossing folder called Poinsettia Corners...I found it so appropriate for Stef's beautiful image. I used Star Dust Stickles to add some bling to the embossing. The image was colored with a combination of Copic and SU markers. I cut out the top layer of the image and pop dotted it to the original colored image to give it a little dimension. The greeting is a collection of stamps purchased from Joanne Fabrics last Christmas. I am really liking how this one turned out. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me...I hope to be able to come see all of you tomorrow.
